Pressure recommendations for the Infinite HPA conversion kit
The Infinite kit provides power ranging from 0.8 J to 1.41 Joules, depending on the weight of the BBs and the pressure (PSI).
To ensure optimal performance for your GBB replica, it is recommended to use the adjustment ranges listed below.
- Glock:
- Plastic slide: 60 to 110 PSI
- Aluminum slide: 80 to 140 PSI
- Steel slide: 120 to 160 PSI
- AAP-01: 70 to 140 PSI
It is important to note that there is no universal PSI value, even though some misconceptions persist.
When adjusting your pressure, several factors must be considered:
- Slide weight and added accessories (such as an RMR optic) affect performance.
Generally, the heavier your slide, the more power is needed to ensure a full cycle.
- The condition of the replica: cleaning and lubricating moving parts, as well as the condition and strength of springs (especially the hammer spring), also play an important role.
Well-maintained parts improve efficiency and durability.
- The remaining air in your HPA tank: as the tank pressure decreases, the pressure available for your replica will also decrease.
This may lead to less optimal performance, especially when the tank is nearly empty.
As an example, here are the results obtained on a VFC G17 Gen5:
